Moschino, Unfinished Business, Italy

Completed Summer 2019 - Solo Project

Created as a project during a semester abroad in Italy, this exhibition design project is curated around Moschino’s Spring 2019 line. Titled Unfinished Business, Jeremy Scott’s line featured sketch-like apparel and a fun twist on the creative process behind design. The exhibition takes direction from the motifs in Scott’s work by incorporating a structure resembling a stack of markers in which the clothes are displayed and mimicking the organic pattern on the clothes through fluid ribbon seating designed by Michael D’Amato. Additionally, Moschino’s bear iconography is used both as the structure of the exhibition and within the welcome desk, featuring Kartell Toy table lamps encased in acrylic boxes. The design is playful, colorful, and quirky, qualities that are representative of the Moschino brand.

The exhibition space includes a welcome desk, clothing displays, a runway, a backstage dressing area, and a lounge room for models and additional support staff.
